***POSTPONED***TYH Obstacle Play Day #3- HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

This will be our last playday of 2022 so who's ready to have a SPOOKY good time??? Let's have some fun with a HALLOWEEN themed Obstacle Course!!

We will have at least a dozen obstacles including THEMED obstacles!

Costumes are encouraged! 

We will have some great surprises in store for everyone!

The cost for this event is $100 

-Water, lunch, and snacks will be provided-

We will have the Obstacle Course complete with:

• multiple types of bridges including a low suspension bridge
• teeter-totter
• poles/logs
• a carwash/cowboy curtain
• rope gate
• back-through
• noodles and flags and more alley
• barrels
• natural brush obstacle
• balance challenging obstacles
• and more! 

Obstacles are suitable for confident beginner to advanced horses and handlers and can be adjusted to build confidence safely for all skill levels.

MORNING 

8:30 - 9am - Check in

9am - 10:30(approximately): Try any or all of the obstacles on line, in the saddle, or both! Obstacles are suitable for confident beginner to advanced horses and humans and can be adjusted to build confidence safely for all skill levels.

We will be providing coaching and support in navigating the obstacles, riding in a group, or anything else you want to work on. 

10:30am - 12 noon(approximately): We will pause to check in and see how everyone is doing. For those want to, will break into smaller focus groups to work on trouble spots such as the best way to operate the gate, how to help your horse overcome a fear of crossing the bridge/water, etc. If needed and requested, Dan or Kathy may step into help your horse through a particularly scary or sticky spot to help you and your horse overcome it and make progress together.

LUNCH 

Noon - 12:30pm (approximately) Snacks and water will be available throughout the day. Lunch will be sandwiches from Port o' Subs. If you have dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring something for yourself. 

AFTERNOON 

12:30pm - 5pm: We will have the option of continuing to work on specific skills with support one-on-one with Dan/Kathy or putting your skills to the test with some friendly competition! See how you and your horse work under pressure and find the trouble spots that you can improve on. We will have individual and team competitions to keep things interesting!

*** Don't have a horse yet or don't have a way to get your horse here? That's okay! Ask us about borrowing a horse to learn the tools to succeed and try the obstacles (in-hand only)! Limited number available***

 

Make new friends and pick up some new skills and techniques with your horse! Water, soda, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Stay for all or part of the day.... we are striving for a casual, friendly, relaxed atmosphere!
