CLINIC & EVENT POLICIES
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to complete your reservation. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before a clinic/playday will be required to pay the full clinic/playday fee.
Not showing up to a clinic/playday without notifying Team Yriarte Horsemanship before the day of the clinic/playday (a.k.a. "No call/no show") will be notated and future clinics/playdays will require the full amount of the event to be paid in order to reserve your spot. If a participant "no call/no show's" a second time, it will be at the sole discretion of Team Yriarte Horsemanship whether or not that individual will be welcome to participate in future clinics/playdays.

In the rare event that Team Yriarte Horsemanship needs to cancel a clinic, we will notify you at least 30 days prior to the first day of the scheduled clinic and immediately refund any deposit paid. However, we will not be responsible for non-refundable travel, transportation, or lodging reservations you may otherwise incur.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If you have registered for a clinic and traveling becomes hazardous the day of the clinic, please use your own judgment when deciding to attend. Those who cannot attend a clinic because of inclement weather should contact Daniel Yriarte at (775) 287-3016 that day.
Should the clinic need to be canceled or postponed due to weather, any deposit will be transferred towards the make-up date or can be applied to another available clinic within the same year.
HEAT ADVISORIES, HIGH TEMPERATURES
At Team Yriarte Horsemanship, we do our best to ensure the safety of clinic participants and their horses.
Weather conditions are closely monitored and if conditions have the potential to affect the health and safety of participants and/or welfare of horses at Team Yriarte Horsemanship Clinics, we will take the appropriate steps to reduce the risk of illness or injury.
If temperatures are high or a heat advisory is in effect during a clinic, we provide regular breaks for participants and their horses. We also ensure adequate water is available and have shaded areas throughout the property for relief. We encourage participants to make use of shade, take regular breaks and water and cool their horses.
Clinics are typically not canceled due to heat advisories or high temperatures;Â however, should a clinic need to be canceled or postponed due to weather, your deposit will be transferred towards the make-up date or can be applied to another available clinic within the same year.
