WHAT TO EXPECT
**We will be using amputated legs and hooves collected from humanely euthanized horses. LEGS ONLY will be displayed and dissected.**
Team Yriarte Horsemanship and Tahoe Equine Rehabilitation and Conditioning (Tahoe Equine) are proud to present another exclusive and unique educational opportunity to the equestrian community! After a brief introduction from our hosts, Melody will begin our presentation by going over basic equine limb function and anatomy followed by a full surgical dissection of the hoof. She will cover common pathologies and disorders, as well as treatments, routine care and maintenance. Participants are encouraged to ask questions as well as take notes and photos.
Tahoe Equine facility manager Maguire Price will provide a tour of the entire facility as well as live demonstrations of many of the available options for rehabilitation, treatment, and conditioning that Tahoe Equine provides.
